Lansing Bridal Show

Yesterday I attended my first Bridal Show. It was a really great experience meeting many of the friendly vendors and to see what they have to offer. I even got to test out some samples. My favorites was the photo booth.

I also really enjoyed getting my wedding ring cleaned. It looks brand new again. I have been catching myself starring at it's sparkles today. Wanna see for yourself!?!

David's Bridal and Fantastic Finds put on a lovely Bridal Show full of the latest Dress trends. Even though Im into the full lace dresses they has some very lovely dresses to display and model. Here are some of my favorites from the show.

Stay tuned for more reviews from more Bridal events coming up.

It's the Beginning

Welcome to my new blog!
I will be using this to document the journey of the renewal of our vows. Yes. I am already married. We married in 2008 in a very short and small ceremony at the courthouse with just our witnesses. I was 7 weeks pregnant at the time with our son. We only have memories of that day to share with our 3 children.  When we started talking about renewing our vows we talked about how much our little girls will one day want to see photos of mommy and daddy on our wedding day. As a Photographer I know how important it is to capture life's most special moments. I want this to be something my two little girls can look back on and cherish the moment and the memories.
I will be documenting my process of planning, prepping, and preparing for the day of our renewing of vows through each step of the way.
We have picked Mother's Day 5-10-2015. During this process I am setting a budget of $3,000 and UNDER as I am going to be doing as much DIY as possible but with a Rich, Elegant, Romantic, Rustic, Vintage feel.
I look forward to sharing this journey with all of you.
